Asus to launch ZenFone 2 Deluxe, ZenFone Selfie, ZenFone 2 Laser in India on August 6: Specifications, features

Asus is hosting a ZenFestival in India on August 6. Today at a preview event, the company has taken the wraps off the smartphones it plans to launch next week. These include the ZenFone 2 Deluxe, ZenFone Selfie, and the ZenFone 2 Laser.
ZenFone2 Deluxe: This smartphone essentially offers top-of-the-line specifications at half the price of a flagship. It features a 5.5-inch 1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and is powered by an Intel Z3580 quad-core 64-bit processor.The smartphone also features 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage, microSD card slot, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 3,000mAh battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. On the software front, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop wrapped under ZenUI.
ZenFone Selfie: Asus had announced this selfie-focused smartphone at Computex last month. The talking point of the smartphone is essentially a 13-megapixel camera at the back with dual-LED flash, as well as a 13-megapixel with a similar dual-LED flash on the front.
As for specifications, the ZenFone Selfie features a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS LCD display, Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64-bit processor, Adreno 405 GPU. It also features 16GB internal storage with 2GB of RAM, and 32GB with 3GB of RAM.
Also featured are microSD card slot, 3,000mAh battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. On the software front, it runs on Android Lollipop wrapped under ZenUI.
ZenFone 2 Laser: The ZenFone 2 Laser too is a similarly photography-centric smartphone, with a 13-megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
The smartphone features a 5-inch 720p display, and is powered by a Snapdragon 410 quad-core 64-bit processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Also on offer is 8GB/16GB internal storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card.
Also featured are 2,070mAh battery, connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, and on the software front, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop wrapped under ZenUI.
