Refurbished Xiaomi and Samsung phones to be available for sale on Amazon India

Amazon India is selling refurbished Xiaomi and Samsung phones on its platform. The revamped smartphones come with more than 6 months higher warranty from the respective brands. Amazon has also assured that although the devices will be refurbished their quality will be not be comprised.Amazon is starting this initiative as a pilot model and will see if it is turning out to be profitable or not. The company will also take customer feedback about the model and then decide its future plans. Moving on, Amazon says that the phones will be marked as refurbished to helps prospective customers distinguish them from brand new units at the time of buying. At the moment, the initiative which is in pilot model will include limited phones from Xiaomi and Samsung, however, more smartphone categories will be added in coming months. The refurbished phones will be fulfilled by Amazon.
