With Samsung’s Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 announcement around the corner, rumours for the next generation Samsung flagship Galaxy S7 have slowly started to take over the Web.
According to few purported internal documents from Samsung’s Android M update roadmap, leaked by Chinese tipster @KJuma (via), Galaxy S7 is codenamed Jungfrau and the firm is considering Qualcomm’s yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 820 (MSM8996) SoC for it.

To remind you, we heard of the codename Jungfrau and Snapdragon SoC last month as well. But it wasn’t reported that the SoC will be Snapdragon 820. Although the same report had also mentioned that there will be an Exynos version too, which will be powered by the Exynos 7422 SoC.
Considering that the Snapdragon 810 is famous for its severe heating problem, it is more likely that Snapdragon 820 is the processor that Samsung will and should consider for the Galaxy S7. At present, the rumours have just started to come out, and launch is only expected next year during MWC 2016.
