Yu launched the YUREKA Plus smartphone last month for Rs. 9,999, which went on sale on exclusively on Amazon recently, in which the company sold 50,000 units. Today the company has announced a Rs. 1000 price cut for the smartphone. It will be available for Rs. 8,999 from the next flash sale on 6th August Those who have already purchased the smartphone will get a gift card worth Rs. 1,000 from Amazon.in.
To remind you, the Yu YUREKA Plus packs a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, is powered by a Octa-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, runs on Cyanogen OS 12 based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop), has a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash, Sony IMX214 sensor, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage with expansion slot, Cat4. LTE support, including support for 4G LTE bands (TDD B40 2300MHz and FDD B3 1800MHz) for India and a 2500mAh battery.
The Yu YUREKA Plus comes in MoonDust Grey with polished finish and Alabaster White colors. The next flash sale is scheduled on Thursday, August 6,2015, exclusively on Amazon.in at 12 noon. Registrations for the sale will close mid-night on 4th August, Tuesday.
